The SNTF provides its passengers with several fare advantages, discount cards and subscription formulas designed to encourage mobility, loyalty and solidarity.
Fares apply across the entire national railway network according to the conditions below.
One-Way Ticket : Valid for 5 days for journeys ≥ 200 km if the trip is interrupted (with station endorsement).
Round-Trip Ticket : 20% discount for journeys ≥ 400 km. Valid for 2 months.
Upgrade (Class Change) : Passengers may change class during the trip provided they inform on-board staff. They pay only the fare difference. If done without prior declaration, the passenger is considered non-compliant.
GROUP TRAVEL
For groups of ten or more people, travelers receive a 30% discount on round-trip tickets for journeys of up to 300 km.
Children aged 4 to 12 are eligible for a reduced fare equal to 50% of the adult ticket price.
Sports groups benefit from favorable fare discounts based on their size.
For a group of 10 to 30 people, a 30% discount is applied.
This increases to 40% for groups of 31 to 60 people, and reaches 50% when the group has more than 61 members.
Holiday camps benefit from a 50% discount on ticket prices.
When the trip is organized by a municipality or a charitable organization, the discount is increased to 75%, thus providing an additional benefit to socially or educationally oriented institutions.

Under 4 years: Free travel if seated on the accompanying adult’s lap.
4 to 12 years: Half fare with a reserved seat.

SOLIDARITY FARE ADVANTAGES

Through these initiatives, the SNTF affirms its role as a social actor, contributing to national cohesion and collective well-being.
LARGE FAMILY CARD
Families with at least three unmarried children under the age of 18 benefit from a 30% discount in second class. offering them reduced travel costs.
This fare advantage is valid for three years.
PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Persons with reduced mobility may benefit from discounts or free travel upon presentation of their disability card issued by the social services.
The amount of the benefit depends on the degree of disability.
- These cards allow their holders to benefit from a 35% discount.
- They are issued for periods of one (1) month, three (03) months, or one year, for journeys not exceeding 200Km in 2nd class.
- They grant the right to unlimited travel on the routes for which they are subscribed.
- In addition to the 35% discount, the monthly subscription offers 15 days of free travel, while the annual subscription offers 5 months of free travel.
WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION
- (Valid only in the Annaba, Constantine, and Oran regions)
- These personalized (nominal) cards are issued by the station and allow their holders to benefit from a 30% discount.
- Weekly subscription cards are issued for a one-week period for suburban routes in Oran, Annaba, and Constantine.
- They grant the right to unlimited travel on the routes for which they are subscribed.
- (Valid only in the Annaba, Constantine, and Oran regions)
- These personalized (nominal) cards are issued by the station and allow their holders to benefit from a 40% discount.
- Monthly subscription cards are issued for a one-month period for suburban routes in Oran, Annaba, and Constantine.
- They grant the right to unlimited travel on the routes for which they are subscribed.
“GREEN CARD” SUBSCRIPTION
The subscription cards known as “Green Cards” are valid on electric multiple units operating on the Algiers suburban network. They grant the right to unlimited travel on the routes for which they are subscribed. The price of annual cards can be paid in three (03) installment payments.
These cards are personalized (nominal), issued by the station, and allow their holders to benefit from the following fare reductions:
- - 30% for the weekly Green Card
- - 40% for the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual Green Cards
